Dear Owners,
It was great to see so many Lands End neighbors, first by Zoom and then by the pool, last week after the Annual Meeting. While we are still under construction, things are beginning to return to some semblance of normal.
After the Annual Meeting concluded, a brief meeting was held to reorganize the board. I am pleased to announce that the elected board officers are as follows: Marilyn Frederick as President, Ed Jorden as Vice President, Bethany Charlsen as Treasurer, and Leo Farrenkopf as Secretary. They will be joined by fellow board members Randy Baumgarten, Cliff LaMotta, and Lorraine Robinson, as well as our current staff members Lucinda Carter and Joel Bohrer in working together to serve the wonderful community of Lands End Village.
We all share a commitment to maintaining the high standard of living that we cherish in our community. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that Lands End Village continues to be a place we are proud to call home, not just a place to reside. We are eager to continue working together to uphold our association’s values and preserve the unique beauty of our surroundings.
Lands End Village has always embraced an unofficial motto of community, comfort, and commitment. Although we may not always be together as neighbors, the spirit of friendship is embraced when we are together. In doing so, we find comfort in lighthearted enjoyment as we relax together by the pool, on the courts, or simply watching the dolphins swim by in Red Fish Pass while walking the path to the sunset. Furthermore, we share a commitment to one another and our place here to do all we can to preserve and maintain the beauty and enjoyment of this property for each other now and in the future.
To that end, I encourage you to contact me with any concerns, suggestions, or ideas. Soon, through Cliff LaMotta's efforts to develop our new website, we will be routinely posting updates and providing a means of communication for all our owners. Together, we can continue to make Lands End Village Association a wonderful place to live.
Thank you for supporting your board and staff in our roles. We look forward to the upcoming year with confidence as we continue rebuilding the treasure that is Lands End Village.
Warm regards,
Marilyn Frederick, President
Lands End Village Condominium Association
